Amy Nuttman

Amy graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s of Business and a minor in Spanish. Her passion for event planning began as far back as she can remember but came to fruition in 2003 during graduate school when she interned for a non-profit organization in San Francisco, helping plan and organize their events. After graduating with her MBA in 2005 and moving back to the Pacific Northwest, she found herself in the non-profit sector once again. Amy joined the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon© working in their Development & Communications Department as well as stepping in as their Procurement Chair for their annual Food Wine & Wishes gala auction, their largest fundraiser of the year. While she loved working for such a worthy organization, ultimately her dream was to own her own business, allowing her the freedom to work from home as needed and raise a family, while simultaneously achieving her professional goals.

After delving headfirst into the unique and exciting world of weddings, and meeting numerous professionals and friends along the way, Amy knew this was the direction she wanted to head. In 2007 an incredible opportunity presented itself and she took over Blush Bridal Consultation Group. Countless events later she is still passionate about helping couples experience their dream wedding by providing them with excellent service coupled with a fun, professional and relaxed approach. Her favorite part of being a planner is working closely with couples from early in their engagement and seeing their vision come to life on their big day! Amy feels incredibly grateful for her supportive family, friends and incredible team of ladies!

During her spare time, Amy enjoys working out, volunteering as a Wish Granter© for Make-A-Wish as well as spending time with her family traveling around the Pacific Northwest and the globe. She is known for her spontaneity, a quality she inherited from her father who was always on the go!

Melissa Griffin

Melissa got her BS in Business Management from Linfield College, then moved up to Portland where she has been residing ever since. She loves the PNW and doesn’t really ever see herself leaving it! She started planning events in college as part of her sorority’s social committee and also as the manager of a small bakery in McMinnville. Melissa then worked at a winery where she was part of the tasting room staff and in charge of coordinating all the wine tours, wine walks and events for the winery. After that she continued to coordinate events for various clients, while also working full time as an operations manager. These included large corporate events and conferences (local and out of state), dinner parties, employee incentive events, CrossFit competitions, Make-a-Wish Oregon events, and weddings as the on-site coordinator for a winery in the summers. She also sits on the Emerging Leaders Board for Make-a-Wish Oregon.

When Melissa’s not doing any of that cool stuff, she is usually hanging out with her boyfriend, her parents and her friends, working out, paddle boarding, drinking wine, wheel throwing some pottery, playing with her puppy, snuggling her cats or babysitting her goddaughter.

Rachel Loveday

Rachel graduated with honors in 2009 from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Communications and Business. Shortly thereafter, she realized her passion for event planning and began her career. Aside from customer service and hospitality, her experience includes the world of Nike Meetings and Events as well as the Portland Home Builders Association. She has been with Blush Bridal since 2011 and loves seeing the individuality and creativity each couple expresses in the planning of their wedding. Rachel catches their vision and then makes it happen! Rachel’s calming demeanor and acute attention to detail makes her a perfect fit for the world of weddings.

When she is not working, Rachel enjoys exploring Portland and staying current with new venues, events, and trends. Playtime with her dog Mia, travel and enjoying gourmet food top Rachel’s list of things that make her happy.

Yelena King

Yelena (you can call her “Lena” for short) is a born and raised Portland girl with a passion for events and a love for health and fitness. After graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Willamette University in Salem, she moved back to Portland to take on simultaneous roles as a fitness coach and an event coordinator. Her bubbly personality, attention to detail and enthusiastic nature ensure her success in both fields. After working with the same wonderful event planning company for 7+ years, she is excited to bring her love for wedding and event coordinating to Blush!

In her free time Yelena enjoys visiting the Oregon Coast, movies with her boyfriend, walking her black lab, Penelope, filling up on chocolate, and early morning workouts at her local CrossFit gym. You might also run into her at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club, where she spends most of her week.

Joyce Allen-Coffman

Joyce found her passion for event planning when her kids were in a co-op pre- school 15 years ago, when she was in charge of fundraising. From there it went into planning school functions and classroom parties. Having a large family as well, there were themed birthday parties and family gatherings that seemed to always become an event. Joyce also owned a small business for 10 years in the Aloha area where she learned how to make coffee and began to cater small events. Having family and friends come together to celebrate or in fellowship with one another has always been a passion of hers. In 2011 one of her good friends, who happened to coordinate weddings in Portland, noticed her niche for planning great events and asked if she was interested in assisting for Blush. The rest is history!

Joyce loves spending time with her family and enjoys watching her kids excel in sports and other activities as well as spend time with her older kids as they transition into adulthood. Her other passions include traveling, scuba diving, snow skiing and swimming.
